Driver Improvement Program (DIP)
Driver Improvement Program (DIP) is a 4–8-hour instructional course required by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) for certain drivers who need rehabilitation or corrective training.
You may have been assigned to the driver improvement program for several reasons:
- You were referred by a Judge.
- You accumulated 5, 6, or 7 points on your driving record.
- You were convicted or granted probation before judgment for a moving violation while holding a provisional driver’s license.
Driver Improvement Program is designed to:
- Improve driving behavior
- Reinforce safe driving habits
- Reduce repeat violations
- Help drivers understand the consequences of risky driving
The following documents are required to bring when you come to take the class:
- Your photo identification
- Referral letter
- Your payment in cash, if advance payment has not been paid
The Program Cost and Refund Policy
The cost of the program is $150.00 and Young Driver Improvement Program $200.00. You can either pay in advance when you register for the course, or you can bring payment in cash, check, money order when you come to class or you can Zelle.
If you are unable to attend, EZNOSs Driving School can either re-schedule you for another class date or offer you a refund. The refund will not be applicable once you complete the program and given your Certificate of Completion.
